Biography
Dr. Chileshe Nkonde-Price is a cardiologist at the Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center. She is an assistant professor and founding faculty at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine. Dr. Price began her 2-year appointment in the Southern California Permanente Medical Group Clinician Investigator Program in 2021.
Her research focuses on the intersection of digital health and cardiovascular health, with emphasis on virtual cardiovascular care. She has created a digital cardiac health program with Apple and Penn Medicine, and contributed to an American Heart Association-American College of Cardiology scientific statement on digital health strategies in emergency cardiovascular care.
Dr. Nkonde-Price has won several health innovation grants, received numerous honors for clinical excellence, and presented lectures in the United States and internationally on virtual cardiovascular medicine. Her peer-reviewed publications have appeared in Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, American Journal of Cardiology, and Journal of Nuclear Cardiology.
