Biography
Dr. Muhammad Saeed is a pediatric pulmonologist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and the director of the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Cystic Fibrosis Center. He has been a principal investigator for several trials for cystic fibrosis and pediatric pulmonology in the Division of Clinical Trials Research.
For more than two decades, Dr. Saeed has been involved in research on cystic fibrosis and respiratory control disorders, as well as other pediatric pulmonary disorders. As a principal investigator or co-investigator on both industry- and university-funded studies, Dr. Saeed has studied medication use in people with cystic fibrosis as well as the variable course of the disease in children who have had abnormal newborn screenings for cystic fibrosis. His research interests include studying the effects of modulator therapies in cystic fibrosis and how they are changing the course of the disease.
