Biography
Dr. Scott E. Lentz is a gynecologic oncologist and the regional director of gynecologic oncology for Kaiser Permanente Southern California. His research focuses on the diagnosis and management of gynecologic cancers as well as the management of women at increased hereditary risk for gynecologic cancer. He also studies surgical innovations as they relate to complex gynecologic surgery and best practice outcomes in gynecology. He has considerable experience leading and collaborating on interregional studies.
Dr. Lentz serves as the primary research mentor for the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and as the research liaison for the Cedars-Sinai–Kaiser Permanente Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship. He is also a principal investigator for cooperative group clinical trials offered through Kaiser Permanente.
